Floating Hotel!

Putting aside questions about maintenance and lake-sickness, a floating hotel makes good sense. If you don't like the surroundings, just tow it to a new location. (pic-abrar, place:kashmir)

When Pharaoh saw the rain!

After a hot and humid March-April, it rained
Empty streets, empty coffee shops, all washed

The lonely Pharaoh was having his dinner
"Hot tea-coffee",shouted the cycling old tea vendor

The puddles were once again filled with muddy water
He could see his reflection like a dog and a tiger

The souls from the nearby graveyard rejoiced,it rained
It didn't matter who sinned, who redeemed
Who killed, who saved
Who obeyed, who betrayed
Who prayed, who dreamed

"We were abandoned on earth, tormented in hell, in heaven pampered
We were tired, at last our prayers were heard, it rained"

Her sharp eyes filled with sparkles gazed
Pierced him from a distance,it rained
He didn't wanted any shelter
Nor desired to run, like a wounded dog-helter-skelter
And embrace her, like a frightened Tiger

His skin cooled, kept alive the kids habit
When he walked slowly, alone on the street
When he avoided the rooftops to get wet

Everything was cleared and washed
As if to forgive those who sinned

When Pharaoh saw that the rain, hail, thunder had stopped
With a hardened heart, again he sinned, again it rained

Like the Lions, the clouds roared, it rained
He became a mummy, his body preserved, it rained

You were close to his jugular vein
Still He couldn't reign

Nor amidst this rain
His tears were seen

After a hot and humid
March-April, it rained

Dog Tag

I reached to the club early in the morning
Old men and women in sports shoes were jogging

Some old men were in their funky shorts, sweat shirts
I could only see them moving their hands
"oldies,maybe they are discussing politics"

A club Dog welcomed me, he was excited
And escorted me till I settled
Down on a plastic chair

The Dog was white in colour, black ears
The body had few black spots

It had blue and green leash around its neck.
He came back and sat beside this wack
"No, we are not going for a walk"

Down he flopped onto the floor
He looked up, i could see his ears fall

The whites of his eyes were showing
A look of pure joy or utter dejection
Why this unconditional love and attention
Even when you are down and suffering pain
"lover of learning or merely an unintelligent machine"

I was listening to the chirping of the birds
Suddenly a crow tried to invade
The area occupied by my presence

The Dog stood up and opened its jaw
Gave a good gruesome stare to the crow

Poor crow almost died of a heart attack
Then flew away from the fear of being hacked

A Funeral!

Willy : Ben, that funeral will be massive! They'll come from Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire! All the old-timers with the strange license plates — that boy will be thunderstruck, Ben, because he never realized — I am known! Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey — I am known, Ben, and he'll see it with his eyes once and for all.

Ben: Never fight fair with a stranger, boy. You'll never get out of the jungle that way.

Biff: I've always made a point of not wasting my life, and every time I come back here I know that all I've done is to waste my life.

Charley :Sit down, Willy. The only thing you got in this world is what you can sell. And the funny thing is that you're a salesman, and you don't know that. Nobody dast blame this man. Willy was a salesman. And for a salesman, there is no rock bottom to the life. He don't put a bolt to a nut, he don't tell you the law or give you medicine. He's a man way out there in the blue, riding on a smile and a shoeshine. And when they start not smiling back — that's an earthquake. And then you get yourself a couple of spots on your hat, and you're finished. Nobody dast blame this man. A salesman is got to dream, boy. It comes with the territory.

Linda: I don't say he's a great man. Willy Loman never made a lot of money. His name was never in the paper. He's not the finest character that ever lived. But he's a human being, and a terrible thing is happening to him. So attention must be paid. He's not to be allowed to fall into his grave like an old dog. Attention, attention must be finally paid to such a person.

Willy : Nothing's Planted, I don't have a thing in the ground. You can't eat the orange and throw the peel away — a man is not a piece of fruit.Work a lifetime to pay off a house — You finally own it and there's nobody to live in it. After all the highways, and the trains, and the appointments, and the years, you end up worth more dead than alive.
