ZEPHYR TURNS GALE

Once upon a time, in the summer of july
As usual 'shaheen' was dreaming to fly
All alone under new clouds,he sat under a 'friendship tree'
The climate was windy in the rainy city
So, he started to chat with the wind
Who was so quiet,calm,wise and kind
They talked,talked, and talked with an open mind
Soon 'Shah' thought that'Zephyr' has become his best friend
He was happy,proud and thanked Lord
For now he won't get bored on this new road


Then came the month of August
Their friendship was at its best
The wind always liked the speed
Being lazy 'Shah' was scared to take the lead
But still he kept his eyes closed
Faith in friendship, they roamed ,roamed and roamed


Once upon a time in the month of September
The 'Gale' started to loose its temper
But 'Shah' remained calm,kind and quiet
As he didn't wanted to loose a friend by fuelling up the fight
Gale's 'need for speed and 'fist of fury'
Like finger prints, matched with'Tom,Dick and Harry'
Soon "Gale-traitor" fled with them as fast as they could
'Shah' lamely trailed with head bent towards the ground

Then came the month of October
A day 'Shah' doesn't want to remember
They broke his heart with an arrow which was rusty
Down,down and down came ' Shaheen' due to Gravity
You can understand ,how easily glass breaks
When it already is having cracks
That time what 'Shaheen' could remember was that friendship tree
It reminded him of Julius Caesar's succumb
He wanted to say "Etu Brute" ,but he became dumb
A promise restricted him to show them the face of 'Saladin'
Or he could had eaten 'Hashish' to become an assassin
That night Black clouds over casted
It rained,rained and rained


Seconds turned into minutes and minutes in hours
Days turned into months and months into years
Today,yesterday and tomorrow they can't meet their eyes with 'Shaheen'
As if they were strangers even in the past seconds of time
Clothes can be changed as per the fashion,but friendship cannot be a Shopping mall dummy
Instead it is a Sweet responsibility and not an oppurtunity
Thy friendship has oft made my heart ache
Do be my enemy for friendships sake
